Organizational Creativity, Innovation, and Firm Success: An Empirical Study of the Thai Electronic and Electrical Appliance Sector

Abstract

This study attempts to investigate the creativity organizational innovation and firm success through mediating effect of valuable practice development, new process improvement and proactive operational competency. Questionnaire is used as an instrument for data collection. Here, 159managing director or managing partnerfrom electronic and electrical appliance business in Thailand were selected as key informant. The Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression analysis is employed to examine all hypotheses. The results indicate that some dimensions of creativity organizational innovation, namely innovation ideas enhancement, modern management technological focus and dynamic business strategy capability almost have a significant positive effect on valuable proactive development, new process improvement and proactive operational competency.  Moreover, valuable proactive development, new process improvement and proactive operational competency has a significant positive effect on firm success. The results provide the benefits for managers in such organizations can apply this research to strategic decision process in order to improve efficiency to innovativeness organization into usage for superior in strategic competitor.
